Product details

The Climate Shield pool heater cover protects a pool heater or heat pump when it is not in use. It keeps snow, ice, UV and blown in debris off the cabinet through the winter and out of the internals.

How it is built

The cover is made from heavy, high quality vinyl and lined with a white non woven cloth. The lining absorbs moisture and keeps the vinyl from sticking to the equipment, which is what tends to happen with an unlined cover left out in hot sun. Mesh vents are sewn into each side so air can cross under the cover instead of sealing damp in against the cabinet.

Sizing

The cover measures 37-1/2 inches long, 30-1/2 inches wide and 36 inches high. Measure your unit before ordering, because a cover that is tight over the corners will not last and one that is far too big will flap in wind.

Left uncovered, a heater spends every off season taking weather it was never going to enjoy. A cover is a small spend against the cost of the equipment it sits over.

What size is the cover?
37-1/2 inches long, 30-1/2 inches wide and 36 inches high. Measure your heater or heat pump against those numbers before ordering.
Will moisture get trapped underneath?
The cover has mesh vents sewn into each side for cross ventilation, and the interior is lined with a white non woven cloth that absorbs moisture.
Will it stick to the equipment in the heat?
The non woven lining is there specifically to keep the vinyl off the cabinet, including in hot sun.
Does it fit a heat pump as well as a gas heater?
It is made for pool heaters and heat pumps alike. What matters is the size, so check your unit against the listed dimensions.
