The Coverstar M9678 is the adjustable base for a walk-on lid bracket, listed at 8 inch with two mounting slots.

What it does

A walk-on lid covers the housing that holds an automatic pool cover, and it has to sit flush and take foot traffic. The bracketry underneath carries that load. This base is the adjustable half: it fixes down first, and the two slots let it be moved before the fixings are pulled tight, which is how the lid is brought level with the deck.
