Product details
This is the allen wrench that goes with a pool safety cover. It is 1/4 inch across the hex and 9.5 inches long, sized for the brass anchors that sit in the deck around the pool.
What it does
Safety cover anchors screw up and down. Raised, they take the spring and strap of the cover. Lowered, they sit flush with the deck so nobody catches a toe on them through the summer. This wrench is what turns them, and without it a cover install or removal stops before it starts.
Worth keeping with the cover
The wrench is small and easy to lose over a season. Storing it in the cover bag means the anchors get dropped flush every spring instead of being left standing all summer, which is when they get kicked and damaged.
