Product details

The Coverstar A1071 is a two piece stainless steel guide feed assembly for automatic pool cover systems. Coverstar lists it as working with all Top Guide Pre 801 setups and with the Pre 403 Under Guide system.

What the guide feed does

The guide feed is the point where the cover rope enters the track. It has to hold alignment under load every time the cover runs, and it does that while sitting in splash and weather all year. When it wears or distorts, the rope stops feeding cleanly and the cover pulls crooked or binds partway across.

Fitting and materials

Stainless steel construction is the reason this part lasts in that position. The assembly is supplied in two pieces, which makes it easier to work around the rope already in place. Mounting hardware is not included, so keep the original fasteners or order them separately before you start.
