The Ocean Blue Water 191052 is a universal motor cover for a pool pump motor. It goes over the motor on the equipment pad and keeps the two things that shorten motor life, sun and rain water, off the housing.

Why bother covering a motor

Most pool motors live outdoors with no shelter at all. They already run hot, so hours of direct afternoon sun on the housing does not help, and water sitting on and around a motor is a slow route to corroded bearings and a rusted end bell. A cover is the cheapest item on the pad protecting one of the most expensive.

Use it sensibly

A pool pump motor is air cooled and pulls air through vents at the back. Keep those vents clear rather than sealing the motor in, and treat the cover as weather protection. It is a universal fit, so measure your motor and the space around it before ordering.

Will it fit my pump?
It is sold as a universal motor cover rather than a model specific one. Measure your motor against the space you have on the pad before ordering.
