Product details

The AquaStar 6HPHA101 is a 6 inch suction outlet cover in the hockey puck style, finished in white and supplied with its screws. AquaStar lists it as a direct replacement for the Hydro Air cover, and it belongs to the AquaStar VGB series.

What the cover does

A suction outlet cover breaks up the pull at a drain so that a body, or hair, cannot seal against it. That is the whole reason the VGB rules exist, and it is why a cracked or missing cover takes a pool out of service rather than onto a to-do list.

Fitting it
