Product details

The CMP 25531-001-000 is the 8 inch Galaxy main drain lid and frame in gray, made for gunite pools. It is the genuine Custom Molded Products part, supplied as the lid together with the frame it seats into.

When to replace it

Main drain covers live underwater and take abuse from brushing, pool chemistry and sunlight through clear water. Cracks, chips, missing screw bosses and a lid that no longer sits flush are all reasons to change it. A loose or broken main drain cover is a genuine safety problem, not a cosmetic one.

Getting the right one

Drain covers are not universal. This is the Galaxy gunite pattern at 8 inches in gray. Check the size and pattern of what is currently in the floor of your pool, and confirm the new cover seats into the existing sump before you order.
