Hayward SPX1039Z18 is the replacement screw set for a Hayward main drain frame, supplied eight to a pack.

Why the right screws matter

A main drain frame sits permanently under water and holds down a suction outlet cover. The screws are the only thing keeping that assembly in place, and they live in chlorinated water for years at a time. Hardware picked up loose at a store often looks the same and then corrodes, welds itself into the frame and rounds off under a screwdriver the next time the cover has to come off. Using the set Hayward specifies avoids that.

Do the whole set

The pack holds eight because that is how these are meant to be changed. Putting one new screw into a frame with seven aged ones leaves the same job waiting the following season. The frame and the drain cover itself are ordered separately.
