Product details

The Hayward WGX1030Z1AM is a set of two screws for use with the WGX1048E. It is the genuine Hayward part, supplied as a pair.

The dimensions

Each screw is 1-3/8 inches long in total, with a 1/2 inch thread at the tip. Between that thread and the head there is a 3/4 inch section of plain, unthreaded shaft. That shape is deliberate: the screw pulls tight at a set depth rather than continuing to draw down, and a substitute with a full length thread will not seat the same way.

Drain hardware is model specific. Read the part number on the drain assembly you are working on and confirm it takes the WGX1030Z1AM screw before ordering, because a screw that is close but not correct will either strip or leave the cover loose.

What does it fit?

Can I use hardware store screws instead?
