CMP Pump Union CPVC 1-1/2" Slip by Male Thread with O-Ring

The CMP 21063-154-000 is a 1-1/2 in. CPVC pump union with a slip socket on one side and a male threaded end with o-ring on the other. It is the fitting that lets a pool pump be unbolted from the plumbing for service instead of being cut out.

How it connects

The slip end solvent welds onto 1-1/2 in. pipe. The male threaded end screws into the pump housing. The union nut in the middle draws the two halves together on an o-ring, which means the joint can be opened and closed as often as needed without a new gasket each time.

Why CPVC

CPVC handles warmer water than standard PVC, so this union is a sensible choice on the pump side of a heater loop or anywhere the plumbing sees heat.

Sizing
