⌄The Jandy R0446000 is the drain plug used across most of the Jandy pump range, sold as a set of two plugs with two o-rings. Pull them to drain the pump housing for winter or for service, and put fresh ones in when the old o-rings have flattened or the plug threads have worn.
What it fits
On pumps: the ePump JEP variable speed, Stealth SHPF and SHPM, PlusHP PHPF and PHPM, FloPro FHPM, WaterFeature WFTR, WaterFall SWF and MaxHP MHPM. The same plug also serves the Zodiac Legacy LRZE and LRZM heaters in the 125, 175, 250, 325 and 400 sizes, the LXi Low NOx 250, 300 and 400, and the Nature2 Fusion Soft and Inground purifiers, models FSOFT700, FSOFT1400 and FUSION.
About the design change
Jandy has updated the design of this plug. If the new one does not look exactly like the one you took out, that is expected; it is the current factory replacement for the same port.
Installing
Thread the plug in by hand with its o-ring in place. A thin film of o-ring lubricant on the ring helps it seal without overtightening and keeps the plug from seizing before the next time you need it out.
