Product details

The Jandy R0479702 is the pump diffuser for FloPro pumps, supplied with its O-ring and mounting screw. It is listed for the FloPro FHPM models from 0.75 through 2.5.

Why the diffuser matters

The impeller throws water outward at speed. The diffuser is the shaped housing around it that converts that speed into pressure and feeds it into the volute. When the diffuser cracks or wears at the nose, water recirculates inside the pump instead of leaving it, and the whole system loses flow even though the motor sounds normal.

What is included

The diffuser comes with the O-ring that seals it and the screw that holds it, so nothing else has to be ordered to complete that part of the job. The impeller and the mechanical seal are separate parts, and both are worth a look while the wet end is apart.
