Product details

The Jandy R0807200 is the factory impeller kit for SHP Stealth and PHP pumps, in the 2 HP full rated size that Jandy also lists as 2.5 HP uprated. It arrives as a kit: the impeller, its screw, and the backplate O-ring.

Why the kit and not just the impeller

Getting to the impeller means opening the pump, which means disturbing the backplate O-ring. That seal is included here, so the pump goes back together sealed rather than being reassembled on a flattened O-ring that leaks air and loses prime a week later. The impeller screw is in the box for the same reason.

Matching the part to the pump

Impellers are cut for a specific horsepower. Fitting the wrong one changes what the pump does to the whole system, so read the rating off your motor before ordering. If the flow has dropped off with a clean basket and a clean filter, the impeller is the usual culprit, either packed with debris or worn on the vanes.

What is in the kit?

On this kit, yes. Jandy lists the same impeller both ways, so a 2 HP full rated pump and a 2.5 HP uprated pump take this part.

How do I know the impeller is the problem?
