This is the Jandy R0479603, the 1.5 HP impeller for the FloPro FHPM series pump, supplied with the impeller o-ring and the screw that holds it on the shaft.

Match the horsepower

Impellers are cut for a specific horsepower. The FHPM series runs across several sizes, and fitting the wrong impeller changes what the pump does at the same motor speed. This is the 1.5 HP part, so confirm the horsepower on your pump label before ordering.

Symptoms of a tired impeller

Weak flow that survives a clean basket, a clear skimmer and a sealed lid usually points at the impeller. Vanes wear thin over years, and the passages inside pack with hair, grit and small debris that a rinse will not shift. A new impeller with a fresh o-ring restores the flow the pump was built to deliver.

Because the o-ring and screw come in the box, the change is a single part order rather than three.

Will it fit my 2 HP FloPro?
No. This is the 1.5 HP impeller. Impellers are matched to horsepower, so a 2 HP pump takes a different Jandy part number.

How do I know the impeller is the problem?
