Jandy Replacement Bottom Tank Assembly for CL & DEV Model Filters

The Jandy R0466500 is the lower tank half for CL series cartridge filters and DEV series DE filters, supplied as a complete assembly rather than a bare shell. The tank bottom comes with its bulkhead fitting, unions with o-rings, outlet elbow, tank o-ring and tank retaining ring, so a cracked or leaking lower tank can be swapped without chasing down the small parts separately.

What you get

Everything that lives below the clamp ring: the molded tank bottom, the bulkhead fitting, both unions with their o-rings, the outlet elbow, the large tank o-ring that seals the two halves, and the retaining ring. The existing tank top, internals and clamp carry over.

Older DEL and CV tanks

This assembly can also replace the bottom on a DEL DE filter or a CV cartridge filter, but not as a straight swap. On a DEL the drain is on the side rather than the back, the plumbing unions must be replaced because the bulkhead fittings are different, and the multiport valve has to be replaced as well because the union threads do not match. On a CV with the inlet on one side and the outlet on the other, the plumbing has to be brought around so that both connect at the front of the tank, inlet at the bottom port and outlet at the top port. The unions in the box are there for that work.

On a current CL or DEV filter, none of that applies: set the new bottom in place, seat the o-ring, drop the internals back in and clamp the top on.
