The Jandy R0462000 is the top housing assembly for the CS200 and CS250 cartridge filters. It is the genuine Jandy part, supplied as a complete assembly.
When you need one
A filter tank is a pressure vessel. Once the upper half is cracked, crazed around a fitting or seeping under pressure, there is no reliable repair, and a housing that lets go while the pump is running makes a mess of the pad. Replacing the top half is far less work than pulling and repiping the whole filter.
Match the model
The CS100 and CS150 use a different top housing, so read the model off the tank label rather than judging by size. While the filter is open, look at the tank o-ring and the half union connections; both are separate Jandy parts and both are cheap insurance against opening the filter twice.
