⌄The Jandy R0461900 is the gray top housing for CS100 and CS150 cartridge filters, the upper half of the tank that lifts off to reach the cartridge. It is the genuine Jandy part, made to the original dimensions so it seats and seals against the bottom tank exactly as the factory housing did.
When to replace it
A top housing usually needs replacing after a crack, a chip around the sealing edge, or long sun exposure that has left the plastic brittle. Swapping the housing is far cheaper than a new filter and keeps the rest of the CS unit in service.
Before you order
Check the filter label for CS100 or CS150. The housing ships on its own; the 100 sq ft and 150 sq ft cartridges are separate parts, and a filter that is being opened up anyway is a convenient time to fit a new one.
