The Jandy R0445400 is the genuine diffuser for Jandy's 0.5 through 3 HP pumps, supplied as a kit with the o-rings and hardware needed to fit it. One part number covers the Stealth SHPF and SHPM, PlusHP PHPF and PHPM, MaxHP MHPM, WaterFeature WFTR and the ePump JEP variable speed pumps.

In the box

One diffuser, two screws, two washers and two o-rings. That is everything the diffuser needs to go back onto the pump with fresh seals, so there is no second order for the small parts.

When to replace it

The diffuser sits over the impeller and shapes the flow into the volute. A cracked or worn diffuser costs the pump flow and can make it noisy or slow to prime. If the pump is already open for an impeller or shaft seal, it is the right time to fit a new diffuser as well.
