Jandy R0479605 is the 2-1/2 HP impeller for the FloPro pump family, supplied as a set with the impeller screw and the back-up plate O-ring. It is the genuine Jandy part, the same impeller the pump left the factory with.
Why the impeller matters
The impeller is what actually moves the water. Vanes wear open, debris packs into the eye, and the pump slowly loses the flow it was rated for. Owners tend to read that as a filter problem or a failing motor, but a pump that primes normally and still returns weak flow is usually telling you the impeller is finished.
