Product details

Jandy R0479605 is the 2-1/2 HP impeller for the FloPro pump family, supplied as a set with the impeller screw and the back-up plate O-ring. It is the genuine Jandy part, the same impeller the pump left the factory with.

Why the impeller matters

The impeller is what actually moves the water. Vanes wear open, debris packs into the eye, and the pump slowly loses the flow it was rated for. Owners tend to read that as a filter problem or a failing motor, but a pump that primes normally and still returns weak flow is usually telling you the impeller is finished.

What you get

Three pieces: the impeller itself, the screw that holds it on the shaft, and the O-ring for the back-up plate. Having the O-ring in the box matters, because it is the part most likely to be damaged coming apart and the one that stops a rebuild dead if it is missing.

Fitment

This is the 2-1/2 HP impeller, used on the Jandy VS FloPro and on the FloPro FHPF and FHPM series. Horsepower is not interchangeable within the range, so match the rating on your motor plate before ordering.

Will it fit a smaller FloPro?
No. This impeller is cut for the 2-1/2 HP pump. Each horsepower in the FloPro range takes its own impeller.

How do I know the impeller is the problem?
