Jandy Lid Seal

The Jandy R0446200 is the genuine lid seal for the Stealth SHPF and SHPM series pumps and the ePump JEP2.0 and JEP1.5 variable speed pumps. It seals the clear strainer lid to the pump body, and it is the first thing to check when a Jandy pump starts pulling air.

Two o-rings, one kit

The kit contains two o-rings of the same size, 8-1/2 in. outside diameter and 8 in. inside diameter. One has a standard round cross section, the other a square cross section. Match the profile of the seal you removed and keep the other as a spare.

When to replace it

Bubbles in the strainer pot, slow priming or a pump that loses prime after it shuts off all point to air getting in at the lid. If the seal is flattened, cracked or stiff it will not hold. Clean the groove, fit the new seal with a light coat of silicone lubricant and hand tighten the lid.
