Product details

This CMP Pro Series basket is a heavy duty replacement strainer basket built in the Pentair Whisperflo pattern. It goes into the pump pot in place of the original and is compared by CMP to 070387, V20-200 and B-199.

Built heavier on purpose

Strainer baskets get pulled, knocked and dropped every time the pot is cleaned, and the original part is often the first plastic on a pump to crack. CMP builds the Pro Series for service work: the basket is a heavier version of the original and carries extra feet on the bottom, which supports it against the pot floor instead of letting the base flex under load.

Dimensions

The basket measures 5-3/4 inches across the top, 8-1/2 inches tall and 3-3/8 inches across the bottom. A cracked basket is worth changing quickly rather than living with, because anything that gets past a split basket goes straight into the impeller.
