Product details

The Hayward SPX1099C is the white ABS cover plate for the SP1099 series front access spa skimmer. It is the genuine Hayward part.

What it is

This is the face plate, the visible panel that closes the front of the skimmer. Because it lives at the waterline in full sun, it is the piece that yellows, chalks and eventually cracks around the fastener points long before the skimmer body behind it wears out.

What is not included

The plate only. The SP1099 basket and the skimmer gasket are separate Hayward parts. If the gasket behind the old plate is flattened or torn, replace it in the same visit rather than reusing it.

Before you order

Hayward builds several skimmer families and their face plates do not swap. Confirm that the skimmer in your spa is an SP1099 series front access unit before ordering.

What is in this listing?
The cover plate on its own. Hayward SPX1099C is the face plate, so the basket and the gasket for the SP1099 series are ordered separately.
Will it fit my skimmer?
It is made for the Hayward SP1099 series front access spa skimmer. Check the part marking on your skimmer body first, because face plates are not interchangeable between Hayward skimmer families.
What color and material is it?
White ABS, matching the original plate.
Do I need a new gasket at the same time?
The gasket is a separate part. If the old one is flattened, hard or torn where the plate seats, it is worth changing while the plate is off.
