⌄The Sta-Rite C103-194PZ is the genuine seal plate for the Max-E-Pro 5P6R pool pump. It is the same plate Pentair lists for the 50Hz MG II, DG II and IntelliPro pumps, and it was previously sold under the number C103-194P.
What the seal plate does
The seal plate closes the back of the pump volute against the motor and carries the shaft seal. If yours has cracked, warped from a dry run, or has a worn seal seat that will not hold a new seal, this is the part to replace. A damaged plate will keep weeping no matter how many seals you install.
Before you order
This listing is the plate only. Because the pump has to be split at the motor to change it, most techs fit a new shaft seal and pump lid o-ring in the same job so the pump is not opened twice.
