The C105-137PEBZ is the genuine impeller assembly for Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas and Dura-Glas inground pool and spa pumps, in the 1 HP full rated and 1-1/2 HP up rated size.

Getting the size right

Impellers are matched to horsepower, not just to the pump family. This one is specified for Max-E-Glas models PE6E-182L, PE52E-182L, PEA5F-182L and PEA6F-182L, and for Dura-Glas models P2R5YE-133L, P2R5E-182L, P2R5YE-125L, P2RA5F-182L, P2RAXF-182LS and P2RA6F-125L. Read the model and horsepower off the motor label before ordering, because a mismatched impeller either will not fit the diffuser or will load the motor incorrectly.

Symptoms of a worn impeller

A pump with a failing impeller still primes and still sounds normal, but the returns go weak and the filter gauge reads low. Vanes wear thin, small stones crack them, and hair and grit pack the passages solid. Replacing the impeller restores the flow the pump was designed to deliver.
