The Sta-Rite 77707-0054 is the replacement igniter for Max-E-Therm SR-200, SR-333 and SR-400 pool heaters, supplied as a kit with the igniter gasket. It is a new, genuine Sta-Rite part.

What it fixes

When an igniter cracks or burns out, the heater runs through its start sequence but never lights. Fitting a new igniter and gasket together restores ignition and renews the seal in the same job.

Fitting notes

Igniter elements are brittle and should not be touched by hand. Switch off power to the heater before starting, and if the bracket that holds the igniter is damaged it is available as a separate part.

Before you order

Confirm your heater is a Max-E-Therm SR-200, SR-333 or SR-400. The part is also catalogued with Pentair MasterTemp burner system parts; check the igniter part number on your parts list if you have a MasterTemp.
