Product details

Part 42001-0008S is the display cover for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm heater, listed for the SR-200, SR-333 and SR-400 models. It is a new OEM part.

What it does

The display cover is the clear panel over the heater control display. On an outdoor heater it takes the weather, the sun and the hose water, which is why it fogs, crazes and eventually cracks while the electronics behind it are still fine. Once it is broken the display is exposed, so it is worth replacing promptly rather than living with it.

Cover only

This listing is the cover itself. The control board, the enclosure membrane panel and the switch membrane are separate Sta-Rite parts, so identify which piece has actually failed before ordering.

Max-E-Therm is the Sta-Rite heater line and its service parts run through Pentair. Seeing either name against this part number is normal.
