What the module does

The ignition control module runs the heater's lighting sequence: it confirms the safeties are satisfied, energizes the igniter, opens the gas valve and watches for flame. When it fails, the heater typically runs the blower and then locks out without ever firing.

A no-ignition fault can also come from the igniter, the air flow switch, the terminal board or the gas supply. Rule those out first; if the sequence stalls at the module, this kit is the fix.
