Pentair MasterTemp 125 Manifold Kit

The Pentair 474972 is the manifold kit for the MasterTemp 125 pool and spa heater. It brings together the parts on the water side of the heater that wear or leak: the coil and tubesheet sealing o-ring kit, the bottom plate, the baffle plate, the bypass valve, the water pressure switch, a 5/16 in. stainless steel washer and the hex cap screw.

Why a kit

Opening the manifold on a MasterTemp is most of the labor, whichever part failed. A weep at the tubesheet means new o-rings, a heater that short cycles or will not fire may be the pressure switch, and a sticking bypass valve throws off water flow through the exchanger. Having all of them in the box means the manifold goes back together once.

Before you order

This kit fits the MasterTemp 125 only; the 175 through 400 models use a different manifold. Check the rating plate on your heater and match the model before ordering.
