Product details

The Pentair 460748 is the manifold kit for the Pentair MasterTemp 250 pool and spa heater, models 250NA and 250LP at 250,000 BTU. It is the Brand OEM kit for the heater's water system, where the manifold directs pool water through the heat exchanger and back out to the return line.

What the kit includes

Pentair's MasterTemp water system parts sheet lists the manifold kit as including the numbered items 3 through 14 and 21 on that sheet, plus items 5 to 7 on the electrical system sheet. That covers the coil and tubesheet sealing O-ring kit, the manifold bypass valve kit, the water pressure switch, the connector tube kit and the zinc plug.

Fit

Pentair sells a different manifold kit for each MasterTemp size, so 460748 is for the 250 only. The 175 and 200 models use 77707-0014, the 300 uses 77707-0015 and the 400 uses 77707-0016. Check the BTU rating on the heater data plate before ordering.

Which heater does this manifold fit?
The Pentair MasterTemp 250 pool and spa heater, models 250NA (natural gas) and 250LP (propane), 250,000 BTU. Pentair lists a different manifold kit for each of the other MasterTemp sizes.
Will it fit a MasterTemp 300 or 400?
No. The manifold kit is specific to the 250,000 BTU size. Check the BTU rating on your heater before ordering.
Is this a genuine Pentair part?
Yes. 460748 is the OEM Pentair manifold kit.
What else should I have on hand?
A silicone based o-ring lubricant helps seat the o-rings when the manifold goes back on.
