The Pentair 461107 is the genuine wire harness replacement kit for MasterTemp and Max-E-Therm pool heaters.

Why the harness fails

A heater harness lives in the worst conditions in the equipment pad: heat from the burner tray, moisture from every rain and washdown, and rodents that treat insulation as nesting material. Over time connectors corrode, terminals loosen and insulation goes brittle.

What that looks like

Symptoms rarely announce themselves as a wiring problem. The heater lights sometimes and not others, a sensor reads wrong, a switch appears open when it is not. Technicians replace control modules and sensors chasing faults that were really a bad connection in the harness.

Fitting the kit
