Sta-Rite Tube Sheet Coil Assembly Kit for Model 400NA, 400LP MasterTemp Heater

The 474061 kit is the cupro nickel tube sheet coil assembly for Pentair MasterTemp 400NA and 400LP heaters manufactured after 1/12/09, the new tub design. It is the genuine Pentair Sta-Rite part and comes with everything the exchanger swap needs, not just the coil.

What is in the kit

The tube sheet coil assembly itself, eight coil o-rings, eight tube sheet seals, a metal tube o-ring, a manifold bypass valve package, a blower and adapter plate gasket, an ignitor and gasket kit, a tube of high temp RTV silicone, a Koala wool insulation service kit and a sheet metal warning label.

The MasterTemp coil

MasterTemp and Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm exchangers are built around a generally round coil rather than the straight, flat tube bundle most heaters use. The end plate measures 5-1/2 in. wide by 8-1/2 in. tall, the assembly is about 13 in. side to side, and it runs about 15 in. from the plate to the far end of the coil. The photos show the coil from several angles for comparison with yours.

Before you order

Confirm the heater is a 400NA or 400LP built after 1/12/09. The 200NA/200LP and 250NA/250LP heaters take their own kits.
