Pentair Sta-Rite S8M150 Large and Small Cartridge Filter Pack 25021-0202S & 25022-0203S

The Pentair 170147 is the complete replacement cartridge pack for the Sta-Rite System:3 S8M150 modular media filter. It pairs the large outer cartridge, 25022-0203S, with the small inner cartridge, 25021-0202S, so one order refreshes the whole filter.

The S8M150 is the 259 sq ft System:3 filter. Its two cartridges nest inside one another, and this pack supplies both in the correct sizes.

When to replace

Cartridges are cleaned many times before they are done, but eventually a hose down no longer brings the starting pressure back to where it was, or the pleats tear and collapse. That is the point to fit a new set. Because the two cartridges age together, most owners replace both at once.

Before you order

Confirm your filter is the S8M150. While the tank is open, check the tank o-ring, the drain plug and the air bleeder so you only open it once.
