Pentair Genuine OEM Triton II Air Relief Tee Assembly

The Pentair 154689Z is the air relief tee assembly for Triton II sand filters: the plastic tee that mounts on top of the tank and the bleeder valve that threads into it, supplied together as one genuine Pentair part.

What it does

Air collects at the top of a filter tank every time the system is opened or drained. Left there, it takes up space the water should fill, raises pressure and can spit air back to the pool. Opening the bleeder valve on this tee lets that air out so the tank fills properly and the gauge reads true.

Which filters

The Triton II TR40, TR50, TR60, TR100 and TR140, the Pentair PF stainless steel side mount sand filter, the Mitra stainless and Mytilus B fiberglass cartridge filters, and the Sta-Rite System 3 DE filters S7D75 and S8D110 along with the System 3 SMD modular series.

Before you order

This assembly does not include a pressure gauge. If only the valve or its o-ring has failed and the tee is intact, those are available separately; this listing replaces the whole assembly.
