Product details

The WC36-22Z is the clamp knob used across a wide span of Sta-Rite equipment: the Posi-Flo II cartridge filter, the Cristal-Flo high rate sand filter, the Max-E-Glas and Dura-Glas series, the IntelliPro VS 3050 pump and the Max-E-Pro series.

What it does

The clamp knob is the hand tightened fastener that draws the clamp band closed. It is small, it lives outdoors, and it is turned every time the filter is opened for a cartridge change or a teardown, which is why the threads eventually give up before anything else on the clamp does.

Naming

The same knob appears under both the Sta-Rite and the Pentair name, in each case as WC36-22Z, so either label on your existing part is the right one.
