Pentair 6-Position Top Mount Clamp Valve Top Assembly

The Pentair 272568Z is the valve top assembly for the Sta-Rite 263085 six position top mount clamp-on multiport valve. When a multiport valve leaks or will not hold its position, the wear is almost always in the top, and this assembly replaces that section while the valve body stays on the tank.

Fitment

It is made for the clamp-on style of the six position top mount valve, model 263085. Check that your valve is the clamp-on version before ordering, because the threaded and bolted top mount valves take different tops.

Finish the job properly

The valve body o-ring, the sight glass and the drain plug o-ring are separate parts. The body o-ring in particular should be replaced any time the top is removed, so order it alongside the top if yours has been in service for a while.
