Product details

Pentair 271168Z is the valve diffuser for the PacFab 2 in. top mount and side mount multiport valve. It is the genuine Pentair part.

What it does

The diffuser sits at the outlet of the valve and spreads the water entering the tank rather than letting it drive straight down into one spot. Even distribution is what keeps the media bed level and doing its job. A cracked or missing diffuser lets the flow channel, and channelled water finds a path through the filter instead of being cleaned by it.

Before you order

The gasket is not included in this listing, so add it if the old one is flat or torn. Pentair also shows this diffuser with the Jandy 2 in. BWVL-MPV DE and sand side valve.
