The Sta-Rite 24900-0503 is the drain plug for System 3 filters, listed for the 21 inch and 25 inch tanks. It is the genuine Sta-Rite part.
Where it goes
The plug closes the drain port at the base of the filter tank. It comes out when the filter is drained for a cleaning or for winterizing, and it has to go back in and seal before the system can be brought up to pressure again.
