Product details

This is the 24851-9001 upper half tank kit, the 25 in. top half of the tank for Sta-Rite System 3 filters. The part is carried under both the Sta-Rite and Pentair names.

What it fits

The stated fit is the System:3 Modular SD Series pool and spa D.E. filter model S8D110 and the System:3 SS-Series pool and spa filter model S8S70. The same 25 in. tank kit also appears in the parts listings for the smaller System 3 models, so the safe step is to read the model number and tank size off the label on your own filter and match it before ordering.

Upper half only

This kit is the top half of the tank. The lower half, the clamp band and everything inside the filter are separate parts. A cracked or crazed upper half is the usual reason for buying one, since a tank that has split under pressure is not a candidate for repair.
