The Sta-Rite 24850-0010 is the T-bolt assembly, also called the clamp bolt, for System 3 filters. It is the fastener that draws the band clamp tight around the joint between the two halves of the filter tank.

How many the tank takes

An S7S50 uses seven clamps and bolts. An S8S70 uses eight. Count what is on your filter before ordering, and consider doing the whole ring at once. Every bolt on a tank has spent the same years in the same weather, so the one that seized is rarely the only one close to the end.
