This is the C19-37AZ, the V clamp that holds the tank body of the pump together. It is listed for the Max-E-Glas II and Dura-Glas II, the Max-E-Pro series, IntelliPro, and the original Max-E-Glas and Dura-Glas pumps.

The clamp is part of the seal

It looks like a plain band, but the clamp is what applies even pressure around the housing gasket. Years of chlorine, sun and the odd overtightened knob leave clamps stretched, distorted or corroded, and once that happens the pump weeps at the seam whatever gasket you put in. If you have replaced a housing gasket and the leak came back, the clamp is the next thing to look at.

Doing the job once

The clamp knob is a separate part number and usually ages alongside the clamp, so check both. If the pump is coming apart for a shaft seal or a gasket anyway, changing a tired clamp at the same time adds a couple of minutes rather than a second service call.

What does the V clamp actually do?
It draws the two halves of the pump housing together around the tank gasket. The clamp is what sets the sealing pressure, so it is part of the seal even though it is a metal band.
My pump leaks at the housing seam. Is a new gasket enough?
Not always. If the clamp is stretched, corroded or the knob no longer tightens properly, a new gasket will still weep. Inspect both.
