Product details

The Pentair 351157 is the black 1.5 inch union kit for the SuperMax and SuperFlo high performance pumps. It is the genuine Pentair part.

What is in the box

The kit is not a single fitting. It carries the adapters that glue into the plumbing, the union nuts that thread onto the pump, and the O-rings that seal the joint, so one order covers a complete rebuild of the connections at both ports.

When to use it

Water at the pump is usually water at the unions. The O-ring takes a set over the years, or a nut gets cranked down hard enough to crack, and the joint starts to weep. Rather than chase one part at a time, replacing the whole union assembly puts the pump connections back to new.
