Product details

The Pentair 350089Z is the volute housing for SuperFlo and SuperFlo VS pool pumps, the main pump body that holds water around the impeller and directs it to the discharge. It is the genuine Pentair part.

When you need one

A housing goes bad in a few predictable ways: a crack from freezing or a hard knock, a drain plug thread that no longer seals, or a union thread that has been stripped by overtightening. Any of those means a leak and a pump that struggles to hold prime. If the motor, seal plate and impeller are still good, swapping the housing is a far cheaper repair than a new pump.

What is included

This is the housing only. The seal plate, impeller, diffuser, motor and fasteners carry over from your existing pump, so it is a good moment to inspect the shaft seal and diffuser o-ring and replace them if they are worn.

If the motor and wet end parts are sound and the only fault is a cracked body, a leaking drain plug thread or a stripped union thread, a new housing is the cheaper repair.
