Product details

The Pentair 350091Z is the clear strainer cover for the SuperFlo pump, the lid that sits over the strainer pot at the front of the pump. Pentair also lists it as 350091. It is the genuine factory part.

Why lids get replaced

A pump lid takes sun, heat and chlorinated water for years. It clouds first, so you can no longer see the basket, then it crazes, and eventually it distorts or cracks and stops sealing. Once the seal is gone, the pump draws air on the suction side and loses prime, which is usually the point at which the lid gets blamed correctly.

What is in the box

The cover only. The lid o-ring and the clamp are separate parts, and a new o-ring with a smear of silicone lubricant is worth fitting at the same time so the new lid seals properly from the first start.

Is 350091 the same as 350091Z?
Pentair lists this lid under both numbers, so an order placed against either will land on the same part.
Does the o-ring come with it?
No. This listing is the strainer cover on its own. The lid o-ring is a separate Pentair part, and it is worth replacing at the same time along with a little silicone lubricant.
Will it fit a Sta-Rite SuperMax?
Pentair lists this cover in the Sta-Rite SuperMax pump replacement parts as well as the SuperFlo parts, so compare it against the lid you have before ordering.
My pump is losing prime. Could the lid be the cause?
It often is. A cracked or warped lid, or a lid whose o-ring will no longer seat, lets air into the suction side and the pump loses prime.
