This is the Sta-Rite C30-12 impeller screw, the fastener that holds the impeller on the motor shaft in Max-E-Glas and Dura-Glas pumps rated 1.5 HP through 3 HP.

Order it with the impeller

Anyone taking a wet end apart to change an impeller, a shaft seal or a seal plate has to deal with this screw. On a pump that has been in service for years it usually comes out corroded, with a head that is already partly rounded from the first attempt to break it loose. Putting the old one back is how a straightforward job becomes a drilling job the following season.
