The Pentair 350093 is the union adapter used on the SuperFlo and SuperMax pool pumps. It is the genuine Pentair part and it is sold individually.

Order two

Pentair lists this adapter as 2 required. A pump has a union on each side, so a single adapter only rebuilds half the job. If you are opening the pump to replace one, replace both while you are there, since the second one is the same age as the first.

What it fits

Pentair carries 350093 in the SuperFlo and SuperFlo VS parts data, and Sta-Rite carries it under the SuperMax pump. Check the number against your own parts list before ordering, because pump unions across brands look alike and are not interchangeable.

While the union is open

Union joints seal on an o-ring. If the seal is flat, cracked or dry when you take the union apart, replace it and lubricate the new one. A tired o-ring on a suction side union is one of the most common causes of a pump that will not hold prime.

Should I replace the o-rings as well?
A union only seals as well as the o-ring inside it. If the old seal is flattened, nicked or dried out, change it while the union is apart rather than chasing an air leak afterwards.
