The Pentair 85007400Z is the white locking deck lid for the American Products Admiral in ground skimmer. It is a new OEM part, the same lid the skimmer was supplied with.
Why lids fail
A skimmer lid sits in the deck taking full sun and every footstep near the edge of the pool. Over the years the plastic goes brittle, the locking tabs chip, and the lid starts to rock or lift out. A cracked lid is a trip hazard and lets leaves blow straight past the skimmer throat, so it is worth changing as soon as it starts to move.
Before you order
Admiral skimmers were built with more than one lid design. This is the current locking deck lid. If your collar takes the old style lid, that is a separate Pentair part number, so hold the old lid up against the product photos first.
