Product details

This is the white deck cover lid for the U-3 skimmer, part number 08650-0058. The U-3 body was sold under the Pentair, Sta-Rite and Swimquip names over the years, and the same lid serves all of them.

Getting the size right

The lid measures 9-7/8 inches across. Skimmer lids look interchangeable at a glance and are not, so pull the old one and measure the diameter before ordering rather than going by the brand name cast into the deck ring.

Why it matters

Lids sit in the deck, take sun and foot traffic, and eventually go brittle and crack. A broken or missing lid leaves an open hole in the deck next to the pool, which is worth fixing quickly regardless of how the skimmer itself is performing.
