Pentair 85000600 is the ring seat assembly for the American Products Admiral in ground skimmer. It measures 9 inches in diameter and is molded in plastic. This is the genuine Pentair part.
What it does
The ring seat sits in the deck at the mouth of the skimmer and gives the lid something to rest on. It takes a surprising amount of abuse: sun, chemicals, pool furniture dragged over it and people standing on the edge of it season after season. When it finally cracks or the lip breaks away, the lid stops sitting flat and starts to rock or drop into the throat of the skimmer.
