Product details
The Hayward SPX1082F is the white adjusting collar for the SP1082, SP1083, SP1084, SP1085 and SP1086 inground skimmers. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What it does
The collar sits between the skimmer body and the deck and sets how high the skimmer top finishes. Get it right and the lid sits flush with the deck. Get it wrong, or lose the collar to a crack, and the lid rocks, sits proud or drops into the throat.
Why they fail
The collar lives at deck level, in the sun, under foot traffic and under whatever gets dropped on it. Years of that crazes the plastic and eventually it splits, usually around the rim where the lid seats.
Ordering
This is the collar alone, in white. The lid is a separate Hayward part, so if the lid is also cracked or discolored, order it at the same time.
