Quick overview

  • Cover and collar together Both halves of the deck fitting come in one part number, so the lid and the ring it sits in match.
  • Round pattern Sized for round skimmer openings, not the square lids used on other skimmer bodies.
  • Gray finish Neutral gray to blend with concrete and cool deck surfaces.
  • CMP part 25544-901-000 The factory number, so you are matching a known fitting rather than guessing at a lid.
  • Deck level safety A cracked or missing skimmer lid is a trip hazard and lets debris and small hands into the throat.
  • Straightforward swap The old cover and collar lift out and the new set drops in.

Product details

The CMP 25544-901-000 is a round skimmer cover and collar in gray, sold as a set so the lid and the ring it seats in are a matched pair.

When you need one

Skimmer lids live in full sun and take foot traffic all season. Over the years the plastic goes brittle, fades, and eventually cracks or drops through. A broken or missing lid is a trip hazard at deck level and leaves the skimmer throat open to debris. Replacing the cover and collar together gives a clean, level fitting rather than a new lid rocking in a worn collar.

Before you order

Check that your deck opening is the round pattern. Square skimmer lids use different parts, and a round set will not seat in a square collar.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Does this include the collar or just the lid?
Both. CMP 25544-901-000 is sold as the round cover together with its collar.
What color is it?
Gray.
Will it fit a square skimmer lid opening?
No. This is the round pattern. A square deck opening needs a square cover and collar instead.
Why replace a skimmer cover?
Sun and foot traffic make the lid brittle until it cracks or sinks. A broken lid is a trip hazard at deck level and leaves the skimmer throat open.
